Grandma's Old Fashioned Buttermilk Syrup

A fun family project. In fact, the Grandma shown illustrated in the logo for 'Grandma's Old Fashioned Buttermilk Syrup' is my Grandma! Catherine Jensen was known as one of the best cooks in Idaho for many years. Requests for wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and fancy dinners would poor in. One of my favorite memories was spending the summers at my grandmas house and walking inside to the smell of freshly baked bread.

One of the best things she used to make was Buttermilk Syrup. After having her freshly made, warm and creamy buttermilk syrup, I couldn't even stand the thought of using cold store-bought maple syrup. One of Catherine's grandsons, and my cousin, decided that more of the world needed to experience this amazing stuff. He contacted me, and the logo for her syrup was born. Now available in select stores, you can experience that same secret recipe of my Grandma Catherine's home-made buttermilk syrup. Pancakes and syrup will never be the same.
